Spinal Wellness Centers Management Responsibilities
- Thorough training for all essential staff and physicians
- Implement and train to use computer-based report of findings system
- Provide patient management and financial closing procedures
- Implement methods of alternative patient financing
- Continual and ongoing training by local/regional director
- Arrange marketing to provide qualified patients
- Ensure ongoing success - in both business and patient outcomes
Clinical/Physician Responsibilities
- Provide space for 1 or 2 decompression tables, office space for consultation, space for optional core strengthening if desired
- Day to day oversight of decompression treatment program
- Qualify patients as decompression candidates
- Review diagnostics with patients and explain options
- Determine treatment plan, table parameters, and allow for open patient communication - we will provide you with sufficient training to allow you to prescribe treatment and determine treatment plans with complete confidence
- Perform entrance, progress, and exit exams for each patient - if applicable, these procedures are billable to insurance
- Prescribe follow-up care, either in-house core strengthening (we will implement, if desired) or at PT office
- Provide essential staff
Clinical/Staff Responsibilities
- Attend local/onsite continuing training as provided
- Follow detailed phone scripts and procedures for incoming calls from patients and outside referrals
- Administer non-surgical disc decompression to patients
- Education of patients about details of non-surgical disc decompression, including protocols to follow during care
- Maintain clinic statistics and provide to Spinal Wellness Centers regional/local director
- Act as a liason to physician if treatment questions arise and to update treatment parameters weekly
- Maintain daily travel card/SOAP notes
- Pre-certify braces and follow-up care with insurance company
- Assist patient with scheduling appointments and obtaining financing, if needed
